The excitement was palpable as the Springdale Year 3 and 4 Girls' football team travelled to Rushcombe First School for a much-anticipated match. The team, comprising Felicity Lawson, Matilda Coates-Smith, Kenna Hocking, Jasmine Perry, Lola Bickle, Kendall Williamson, Dixie Taylor, Annabella Palmer, and Bella Bird, were determined to put their best foot forward. Ava Haynes, their dependable goalkeeper, stood strong between the posts, ready to face any challenges.

The Springdale girls dominated the pitch from the start, showcasing excellent teamwork and sharp skills. Their precise passes and powerful shots proved too much for the Rushcombe team to handle. The final whistle blew with a resounding 5-0 victory for Springdale. Mr Cameron was incredibly proud of his girls and expressed his sincere gratitude to the parents for their support with getting the girls there and the cheering from the sidelines.
