Friendship Week - All different, All equal

16th November 2017

This week is Friendship week at Springdale. Based on the National Anti-Bullying Week, we have been thinking and talking about how we are ‘All different, All equal.”

This theme empowers our children to celebrate what makes them, and others, unique. It also helps them to understand how important it is that every child feels valued and included in school, and able to be themselves, without fear of bullying. Children have participated in a range of lovely activities and Mrs Burgess our Inclusion Leader took a group of children to visit Montacute School.

To help reinforce the message that we are all different, all equal, children have to come into school each day wearing different socks on each foot.

"Pupils thrive at the school, developing outstanding attitudes to learning due to the excellent relationships they form with adults and the very practical, interesting and challenging lesson activities provided. Their excellent behaviour is evident in all aspects of school life."
