Springdale Sports Day 2017

7th July 2017

The sun was shining for Key stage 2 sports morning. The children moved around a rotation of activities engaging in races, field events and the obstacle course. The morning finished with the highly contested mini marathon. As always the event proved very competitive and the KS1 children enjoyed cheering the runners on as they raced across the playground! Well done to all who took part!

Unfortunately the weather didn't look quite so bright for Key stage 1 sports morning. However the children managed to take part in the rotation of activities. The rain didn't dampen spirits and we managed to finish the main races before the heavens really opened. It was a shame that we couldn't finish the morning with the usual toddler race and class relay....I am sure the teachers will keep the competition going and run the relay races in P.E time!

Thank you to all the leaders from Broadstone Middle and Lockyers Middle and to all staff and parents for making this year a success!

"Pupils thrive at the school, developing outstanding attitudes to learning due to the excellent relationships they form with adults and the very practical, interesting and challenging lesson activities provided. Their excellent behaviour is evident in all aspects of school life."
